Upson, Wisconsin

Upson is an unincorporated community located in Iron County, Wisconsin, United States. Upson is located at the junction of Wisconsin Highway 77 and Wisconsin Highway 122 12 miles southwest of Hurley, in the town of Anderson. Upson had an Air Defense Command radar station of the Permanent System radar network and a post office, which closed on March 16, 1985

Oronto Bay

Oronto Bay is an arm of Lake Superior between Marble Point in Iron County, Wisconsin and Little Girls Point in Gogebic County, Michigan and includes part of the Bad River Reservation. The Montreal River, which forms the border between the two states, empties into the bay after roaring over Superior Falls.
