Thoai Son District

Thoại Sơn is a rural district (huyện) of An Giang Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 187,620. The district covers an area of 456 km². The district capital lies at Nui Sap. The Óc Eo vestige of the Kingdom of Funan locates here and they are believed to be from a trading port dating to between the 1st and 7th centuries CE.

Chau Thanh District, An Giang

Chau Thanh, is a district (huyện) of An Giang Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 171,480. The district covers an area of 347 km². The district capital lies at An Chau. It was created when the district Châu Thành X was split into Chau Thanh and Thoai Son, under decree 300/CP on August 23 1979. Under South Vietnam, it was part of Long Xuyen province.

Vinh Thanh District, Can Tho

Vĩnh Thạnh is a rural district of Can Tho city in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The district borders An Giang Province to the west, Kien Giang Province to the south, Thốt Nốt District to the north. As of 2004 the district had a population of 155,011. By 2007 this had risen to 162,759. The district covers an area of km². The district capital lies at Thanh An. Vinh Thanh district was established on in May 2004 by Decree No. 05/2004/ND-CP.

Tri Ton District

Tri Tôn is a rural district (huyện) of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 118,648. The district covers an area of 598 km². The district capital lies at Tri Tôn and is 44 kilometres away from Chau Doc. There is a sacred mountain system named Seven Mountains here where Buu Son Ky Huong's monks live. It is the largest and most sparsely populated of the districts in An Giang, being quite mountainous.
