Vung Tau

Vũng Tàu is a city in southern Vietnam. Its population in 2009 was 296,237. The city area is 140 km including 13 urban wards and one commune of Long Son Islet. It was the capital of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province from the founding of the province and was replaced by Ba Ria from May 2, 2012, and is the crude oil extraction center of Vietnam.

Christ of Vung Tau

Christ the King, of Vũng Tàu is a statue of Jesus, standing on Mount Nho in Vũng Tàu, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Dong Nam Bo, Vietnam. The Vietnam Catholic Association built the statue in 1974 and it was completed in 1993. It is 32 metres high, standing on a 4 metres high platform, for a 36 metres total monument height with two outstretched arms spanning 18.3 metres . There is a 133-step staircase inside the statue.

Vung Tau Port is a group of seaports, one of the sea transport hubs of Vietnam. Vung Tau Port is located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Dong Nam Bo, Vietnam. Vung Tau port includes the following component ports: Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port, Sao Mai-Ben Dinh: This is the main port for container transport until 2020. Currently, the port is capable of receiving ships up to 50,000 DWT. The Vietnamese government is developing this port so that by 2015 this port can handle ships of 100,000 DWT.
