Vinh Thuan District

Vĩnh Thuận is a rural district of Kien Giang province in the Mekong River Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 133,539. The district covers an area of 608 km². The district capital lies at Vinh Thuan. Together with An Bien and An Minh district that called U Minh Thượng, is the most southern district of Kien Giang Province. And as although a Kien Giang province's district, but it is nearer for going to Ca Mau city (40 km) than to Rach Gia City (80 km).

Vị Thanh city

Vị Thanh is the capital city of Hau Giang province in Vietnam. Formerly, Long My was a town of Chương-Thiện province in South Vietnam. In 2004, Vị Thanh became the capital of Hậu Giang Province. It has an industrial zone of 880,000 square metres. There are roads, National Highway 61 (which leads to National Road 1A which leads to Cần Thơ Municipality on the Hau River which leads to Ho Chi Minh City), and water connections by canal and river to the Hau River.
