Vị Thanh city

Vị Thanh is the capital city of Hau Giang province in Vietnam. Formerly, Long My was a town of Chương-Thiện province in South Vietnam. In 2004, Vị Thanh became the capital of Hậu Giang Province. It has an industrial zone of 880,000 square metres. There are roads, National Highway 61 (which leads to National Road 1A which leads to Cần Thơ Municipality on the Hau River which leads to Ho Chi Minh City), and water connections by canal and river to the Hau River.

Phung Hiep District

Phụng Hiệp is a rural district (huyện) of Hau Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The district is split into one urban ward and rural communes: Phụng Hiệp, Tân Phước Hưng, Tân Bình, Hoà An, Phương Phú, Hoà Mỹ, Hiệp Hưng, Thạnh Hoà, Bình Thành, Tân Long, Long Thạnh và các thị trấn Cây Dương, Kinh Cùng.
