Lake Alofivai

Lake Alofivai is a lake on the northeastern side of Wallis (Uvea) in the Pacific. It is located off Route 1 (RT1) adjacent to the village of Alofivai. The lake is reportedly "often dry, and the bottom of the crater then affords pasture for the cows of the nearby mission schools. " However, during wetter periods, the lake is populated with frogs.

Wallis (island)

Wallis is an island in the Pacific Ocean belonging to the French overseas collectivity of Wallis and Futuna. The island is a small Polynesian kingdom with an aristocratic monarchy, ruled by the noble families called the "ʻAliki" through the Customary system, the "Puleʻaga Hau o Lavelua". ("Lavelua and his Kingdom"). The powers are shared between French Administration, Roman Catholic Church, and the Traditional System "Pule'aga Hau".

Mata-Utu

Mata-Utu is the capital of Wallis and Futuna, a collectivity of France. It is located on the island of Wallis (Uvea), in the district of Hahake, of which it is also the capital. Its population (2003 census) is 1,191. Downtown Mata-Utu is dominated by the Matâ'Utu Cathedral, a French national monument.
