2008 Bin Salman Mosque bombing

The 2008 Bin Salman Mosque bombing was a bombing on May 2, 2008 at the Bin Salman Mosque in Sa'dah, Sa'dah Governorate, Yemen, which killed 15 and injured 55. Local officials believe the bomb was hidden in a car or a motorcycle. Some witnesses said the target may have been the mosque's imam, or prayer leader, an army officer who adheres to the rigorous Salafi school of Sunni Islam. Witnesses said he was not hurt.

Sa'adah District

Sa'adah District is a district of the Sa'dah Governorate, Yemen. As of 2003, the district had a population of 58,695 people. Sa'adah is a nice town. Now days Sa'adah is safe because the war has stopped. People in Sa'adah are kind to strangers, but AL-HOTHI (the man that started the wars in the town) made the town look bad to outsiders, and that was the reason visitors couldn't visit this town for a couple of years. Now days Sa'adah is more safe and visitors can go there.
