Baobab College

Baobab College(formerly Baobab Trust School) is an independent day and boarding school, situated outside Lusaka, Zambia. 500 students are enrolled from ages 2-18 to follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales. At the end of Year 11 students sit IGCSE exams through CIE. Sixth Form students follow AS/A level programmes. In 2005, Baobab College was awarded Fellowship Centre Status by CIE - the only school in Zambia to achieve this award.

Cairo Road

Cairo Road is the main thoroughfare of Lusaka, Zambia and the principal business, retail and services centre of the city. It was a section of the Great North Road and was so named because it is a link in Cecil Rhodes' then dream of a Cape to Cairo Road through British colonies in Africa. Cairo Road is 1.8 km long, running north-south between the Great East Road and Independence Avenue, and is a wide dual carriageway with an avenue of trees down the centre.
