Mount Hampden

Mount Hampden is a village in Mashonaland East province in Zimbabwe. It is about 11 miles from the capital Harare. It was the original destination of the Rhodesian Pioneer Column, the Column eventually settled some 11 miles to the south. Mount Hampden was named by the hunter and explorer Frederick Courtney Selous after John Hampden the Puritan leader during the Cromwellian Wars in Britain.

Charles Prince Airport

Charles Prince Airport, formerly named Mount Hampden and renamed after former airport manager Charles Prince, is located approximately 8 km northwest of Harare, Zimbabwe. During World War II it served as a Rhodesian Air Training Group (RATG) location, training pilots for the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. In 1973 the airport was converted to civilian use.

Allan Wilson High School

Allan Wilson High school is a boys only school situated in Harare, Zimbabwe. The school uniform comprises, three main variants; full khaki - shorts and a short sleeve shirt (3rd Kit); khaki shorts and a white long/short sleeve shirt (2nd kit); and black long trousers, white shirt and a black blazer (1st Kit). First kit is worn with a straw boater, 2nd kit was historically worn with a black cap or boater whilst 3rd kit is worn with either a cap or grey floppy hat.

Mabelreign, Harare

Mabelreign is a north-western suburb of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. There are a number of shopping centres in the area. The Mabelreign post office, Mabelreign Police Station, municipality offices, and a local clinic are located on Stortford parade in Mabelreign shopping centre. Secondary schools in the area include Ellis Robins School, Harare and the Mabelreign Girls High School. Hallingbury Primary School, Haig Park Primary and Alfred Beit School are also in the area.

Emerald Hill, Zimbabwe

Emerald Hill is a north-western suburb of Harare, Zimbabwe, named so because of either (i) the colour of the hill due to the large number of trees or (ii) an Irish connection: many of the roads in the suburb have Irish names. On the hill in the centre of the suburb are located a school for the deaf and a children's home. Emerald Hill is also home to St John's High School and Gateway Primary School.
