Kerrier Hundred

The hundred of Kerrier was the name of one of ten ancient administrative shires of Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. Kerrier (sometimes Kirrier) is thought by Charles Thomas to be derived from an obsolete name (ker hyr = long fort) of Castle Pencaire on Tregonning Hill, Breage. It is likely that an even earlier name for the district was Predannack which has been displaced by the Lizard Peninsula as a geographical name.

The Flambards Experience

The Flambards Experience is a family-owned amusement park on the southern outskirts of the town of Helston in Cornwall, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1976 as the 'Cornwall Aircraft Park' by Douglas Kingsford Hale MBE and his wife Audrey and is now run by their son James Kingsford Hale. Now named Flambards, the theme park has become one of the leading attractions in the south west for rides, exhibitions and family entertainment.

Helston Railway Preservation Company

|} The Helston Railway, which is operated by the Helston Railway Preservation Company using members of the Helston Railway Preservation Society, is a heritage railway in Cornwall, which aims to rebuild and preserve as much as possible of the former 8¾ GWR Helston branch line between Nancegollen and Water-Ma-Trout on the outskirts of Helston.

Trevarno, Cornwall

Not be confused with Trevarno, California Trevarno is a country estate in south-west, Cornwall, United Kingdom, once the seat of the Bickford-Smith family. It is situated near the village of Crowntown, two miles (3 km) north-east of Helston. The estate is currently closed to the public, unfortunately. The 70 acres of grounds include gardens, woodland walks, a Museum of Gardening, a sub-tropical conservatory. Trevarno is Cornish and means "farm/settlement of Varno."

Sithney

Sithney is a village and civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is named for Saint Sithney, the patron saint of the parish church. The parish church is of Norman foundation but the present structure is more or less of the 15th century. In the churchyard is a monument to John Oliver, 1741. John Rogers, the landowner, mineral lord and biblical scholar, is buried here.
