Ishëm (river)

The Ishëm River is a river in western Albania. It forms part of a watercourse that measures 79 km, but only the lower third of the watercourse is known as the Ishëm. The Ishëm proper is formed at the confluence of the rivers Gjole and Zezë, a few km northwest of Fushë-Krujë. It flows into the Adriatic Sea near the town Ishëm.

Durrës County

The County of Durrës (Albanian: Qarku i Durrësit) is one of the 12 counties of Albania. It consists of the districts Durrës and Krujë and its capital is Durrës. The city is 40 minutes away from Tirana by car. It has the largest sea port in Albania. Durrës' entire western edge is the shoreline of the Adriatic Sea. Mat (river)

The Mat is a river in northern Albania. Its source is near Martanesh, in the Bulqizë District. It flows west towards the Mat District, which takes it name from the river, and northwest through the towns Klos and Burrel. About 10 km downstream from Burrel it flows into a large reservoir (Liqeni i Ulzës – "Lake Ulëz").

Erzen

The Erzen is a river in western Albania. Its source is in the mountains east of Tirana, near the village Shëngjergj. It flows west through Bërzhitë, Petrelë, Vaqarr, Ndroq, Shijak and Sukth. It flows into the Adriatic Sea near Sukth, north of Durrës. Apparently, all twenty-two victims of the 1951 massacre were dumped into the river on Enver Hoxha's orders, only to later be found wrapped tightly in barbed tape.

Zezë

The Zezë is a river in western Albania, a source river of the Ishëm River. Its source is in the mountains east of Krujë. It flows through Fushë-Krujë, and joins the Gjole near Kodër-Thumanë, to form the Ishëm.
