Sarantaporos (Epirus)
The Sarantaporos is a river in northwestern Greece and southern Albania. It is a right tributary of the river Vjosë (Aoos), which flows into the Adriatic Sea. Its length is 50 km, of which the final approx. 10 km form the border between Greece and Albania. Its source is between the mountain ranges Gramos and Voio, in the Kastoria regional unit. It flows through the municipal units Arrenes, Mastorochoria and Konitsa in Greece, and the municipalities Qendër Leskovik and Çarshovë in Albania.

Kefalovryso, Ioannina
Kefalovryso is a town of about 1,100 in the northern part of the Ioannina regional unit. It was the seat of the municipality of Ano Pogoni. It is situated at the foot of mount Nemertsika, near the Albanian border. It is 3 km west of Vasiliko, 12 km northeast of Delvinaki, 16 km west of Konitsa, 36 km east of Gjirokastër (Albania) and 46 km northwest of Ioannina. Most of the inhabitants are Aromanians, speaking the Aromanian language along with Greek.

Mount Nemërçkë
Nemërçkë is a long mountain in southern Albania and northern Greece. Over 90% of the mountain is located in Albania, where its highest peaks are found. The highest peak is Maja e Papingut which rises at 2,482 m above sea level, while the highest peak on the Greek side is at 2,198 m above sea level. The river Vjosë flows to the east of the mountain. The largest village located near the mountain is Poliçan, in Albania.

Pindus
The Pindus (also Pindos or Pindhos) mountain range is located in northern Greece and southern Albania. It is roughly 160 km long, with a maximum elevation of 2,637 m. Because it runs along the border of Thessaly and Epirus, the Pindus range is often called the "spine of Greece". The mountain range stretches from near the Greek-Albanian borders in Northern Epirus, entering the Epirus region and Macedonia region in northern Greece down to the north of the Peloponnese.

Vikos Gorge
The Vikos Gorge (Greek: Φαράγγι του Βίκου) is a gorge in the Pindus Mountains of northern Greece. It lies on the southern slopes of Mount Tymfi, with a length of about 20 km, depth ranging from 450 m to 1600 m and width from 400 m to some metres at its narrowest part. Vikos is listed as the deepest gorge in the world by the Guinness Book of Records among others.
