Valbonë (river)

The Valbonë or Valbona is a river in northern Albania. It is still relatively untouched. Its source is in the Prokletije, near the border with Montenegro. The Valbonë flows generally east through the municipality Margegaj (mountain villages Valbonë, Dragobi and Shoshan), then turns south along Bajram Curri, and continues southwest until its outflow into the river Drin, near Fierzë. It is one of the cleanest rivers in the country. The river creates and goes along the Valbonë valley

Maja Grykat e Hapëta

Maja Grykat e Hapëta is a mountain located in northern Albania in the Prokletije. It is found to the southeast of Maja Jezercë, south of the upper Valbonë valley. It is one of the highest mountains in the mountain range at 2,625 m high. In fact, it is the third highest after Maja Jezercë at 2,694 m in Albania and Đeravica at 2,656 m in Kosovo. Like many of the other mountains surrounding it, Maja Grykat e Hapëta has a stony texture near its summit.
