Lezhë Castle

Lezhë Castle is a castle dominating the city of Lezhë, northern Albania. Its highest point is 186 metres high. The castle originates from Illyrian times. In 1440 it was reconstructed by the Venetians, and in 1522, after the Ottoman conquest, it was also rebuilt by the latter. The castle bears traces of Illyrian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman architecture.

Lezhë

Lezhë is a city in northwest Albania, in the district and county with the same name. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41.79|N|19.65|E||||| | |name= }} and has a population of about 27,500 (2009 est). In ancient history it was an ancient Greek colony named Lissus. The latter is an Archaeological Park of Albania.

Brian Filipi Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi Brian Filipi), aka former Besëlidhja Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lezhë, Albania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KS Besëlidhja Lezhë. The stadium holds 5,000 people.

The District of Lezhë (Albanian: Rrethi i Lezhës) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Lezhë County. It has a population of 77,184 (2010 estimate), and an area of 479 km². It is in the north-west of the country, and its capital is Lezhë. Lezhë is located in north Albania and is a region with thousands of years of history. In Lezhe the League of Lezhë was created under the order of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg.
