Aafir or Afir is a town and commune located on the Mediterranean Sea within Dellys District, Boumerdès Province, northern Algeria. According to the 1998 census it has a population of approximately 12,613. Aafir is one of three communes in the district with the exception of the others being Benchoud and the capital, Dellys.

Zemmouri

Zemmouri is a town and commune in Boumerdès Province, Algeria. According to the 1998 census it has a population of 21,012. The disastrous 2003 Boumerdès earthquake led to the discovery of a thrust fault; it was subsequently named after the town. The fault has since been incorporated into seismic hazard maps, which will serve as an important guideline for public safety.

Cap Djinet

Cap Djinet is a cape at the Mediterranean Sea near the town of Djinet, 50 kilometers east of Algiers, near Dellys, in the Boumerdès Province of Algeria. A moment magnitude scale (Mw 6.8) earthquake in northern Algeria on May 21, 2003 produced a shoreline uplift characterized by a continuous white band visible at rocky headlands. The uplift distribution indicated an average of .55 meters along the shoreline with a maximum of .75 m near Boumerdes and a minimum close to 0 near Cap Djinet.
