Morón Airport and Air Base

Morón Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Morón) is located 3 kilometres southwest of the center of Morón, a city in the Buenos Aires Province of Argentina. The airport covers an area of 439 hectares. It is located about 35 kilometres from Buenos Aires city and was the main airport in Argentina prior to the opening of Ministro Pistarini International Airport in 1944. Located here is the Museo Nacional de Aeronáutica, an aircraft museum with historic aircraft on display.

Morón is a city in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires, capital of the Morón Partido, located in the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:34|39|S|58|37|W||| | |name= }}. Located 20 km (13 mi) west of Downtown Buenos Aires, Morón is easily reached via bus along Avenida Rivadavia, via National Highway 7, and the TBA Sarmiento railway line.

Libertad, Buenos Aires Province

Libertad is a city located in Merlo Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It forms part of the Greater Buenos Aires urban conurbation. Its origin goes back to the 1870s when, by that time, a rural settlement was thriving around a pulpería (public house) called La Libertad (Freedom), from where the town took its name. During the last decades a group of prominent neighbors had been working to obtain the autonomy of the city and make Libertad a new partido in the province.
