Madina, Armenia

Madina is a village in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia and was founded in 1922. Just west of town is Mount Armaghan, an extinct volcano 450m higher than the plain, that has a small lake in its center.

Geghhovit

Geghhovit (Armenian: Գեղհովիտ, also Romanized as Geghahovit; until 1968, Karanlukh, Karanlug, Verkhniy Karanlug, and Verin Gharanlugh) is a town in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The town was founded in the 15th century. The Geghhovit community includes the villages Lernahovit and Yangh.
