Gol Gol, New South Wales

Gol Gol is a small town in the far western region of New South Wales, Australia in Wentworth Shire. It is situated on the banks of the Murray River, which forms part of the New South Wales-Victoria state border, in the Sunraysia fruit-growing region of north-western Victoria. Rapid development in recent years has rendered Gol Gol virtually a suburb of Mildura, approximately 6 kilometres to the west on the other side of the river.

Nichols Point, Victoria

Nichols Point is a small township in Victoria, Australia, located approximately 4 km from Mildura, Victoria. The Post Office opened on 8 April 1908 although known as Nicholl's Point until around 1949. The Post Office includes a small general store and bottle shop. In the 2006 census, Nichols Point had a population of 837. The town has a Primary School with over 300 students.

Mildura railway station

Mildura was the passenger terminus for the Mildura railway line in Victoria, Australia. Located in the city of Mildura it is located on the eastern side of the town centre, alongside the Murray River. Although there has not been a passenger rail service since 1993, the Victorian Labor Government promised to return the service in 1999.
