Woolgarlo, New South Wales

Woolgarlo is a rural property on the foreshores of the Yass River Arm of Lake Burrinjuck, in the far eastern part of the Riverina in Australia. It is situated by road, about 15 kilometres north east from Burrinjuck and 17 kilometres south east from Bookham. The property was converted into a caravan and camping park during the 1960s, catering mainly to freshwater anglers and waterskiers.

Taemas Bridge

The Taemas Bridge is a two-lane road bridge crossing the Murrumbidgee River in New South Wales, Australia. The bridge crosses on the river just before it enters Lake Burrinjuck, which has been created by the Burrinjuck Dam. The bridge is a key part of the road between Yass and Wee Jasper, and from there, to Tumut. The bridge is around 26 kilometres from Yass and 22 kilometres from Wee Jasper. The current bridge was completed in 1931 and is over 200 metres in length.

Yass Valley Council

Yass Valley Council is a local government area in the Southern Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is is located adjacent to the Hume and Barton Highways and the Main Southern railway line. The Shire includes Yass, Binalong, Bookham, Bowning, Gundaroo, Murrumbateman, Sutton, Wee Jasper and Brindabella. Yass Shire was proclaimed on 1 January 1980 following the amalgamation of Goodradigbee Shire and the Municipality of Yass.

Cavan, New South Wales

Cavan is a rural community situated on south bank of Murrumbidgee River in the eastern part of the Riverina. It is situated by road, about 22 kilometres north from Wee Jasper and 26 kilometres south from Yass. It was named after the town of Cavan in Ireland. Cavan Post Office opened on 1 March 1887, closed in 1902, reopened in 1913 and closed in 1951.
