Yalgogrin South, New South Wales

Yalgogrin South is an unbounded rural locality within the locality of Ardlethan in the central north part of the Riverina. It is situated, by road, about 21 km north of Kamarah and 26 km north of Ardlethan. The name Yalgogrin is derived from the local Aboriginal word for dead box tree. The village of Yalgogrin formerly named Yalgogrin North which lies outside of the Riverina area is about 40 km north of Yalgogrin South, past the village of Tallimba.

Moombooldool, New South Wales

Moombooldool is a village community in the central north part of the Riverina. It is situated by road, about 9 kilometres east from Barellan and 12 kilometres west from Kamarah. Moombooldool Post Office opened on 15 April 1912 and closed in 1982. The railway line opened in 1908. The station closed in 1975 however the line remains open for goods trains.

Barellan

Barellan is a small town in Narrandera Shire in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. On Census night 2011, Barellan had a population of 328. It is a quiet Riverina wheat town on the Burley Griffin Way, with characteristic silos, and functions primarily as a service centre for the surrounding agricultural area.

Ardlethan is a small service town located in the Coolamon Shire in New South Wales, Australia. Ardlethan is located at the intersection of the Burley Griffin Way and Newell Highway. At the 2006 census Ardlethan had a population of 379 people. Ardlethan lays claim to be the birthplace of the Australian kelpie.
