County of Aubigny

The County of Aubigny is a county in Queensland, Australia. Like all counties in Queensland, it is a non-functional administrative unit, that is used mainly for the purpose of registering land titles. The county lies between 151°E and 152°E longitude, and it covers the Toowoomba Region and the Dalby part of the Western Downs Region, The county was named by the Surveyor-General of New South Wales in 1850, possibly to honour the Earl of Arundel who had a long association with the name Aubigny.

Acland, Queensland

Acland is a small town north of Oakey, on the Darling Downs, 160 kilometres west of Queensland's state capital, Brisbane. At the 2006 census, Acland had a population of 53. Originally built to support what would become Queensland's oldest continuously worked coal mine, the town had a population of between 200 and 400 prior to the mine being shut down in 1984.

Bowenville, Queensland

Bowenville is a town in the Toowoomba Regional Council local government area in Queensland, Australia. The town was based around the rail industry and with the winding down of the railways the population declined. At the 2006 census, Bowenville had a population of 160. Just north of the Warrego Highway east of Dalby, Bowenville has the basic requirements for the traveller, including fuel, a post office, barbecues, a hotel and public telephone.
