Johanna, Victoria

Johanna is a small town on the coast of Victoria, Australia located west of Cape Otway in the Colac Otway Shire. It is named after the schooner Joanna that was wrecked at the mouth of the Johanna River on 22 September 1843 .

Ford River (Victoria)

The Ford River is a short river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It arises in the Otway Ranges on the western side of Cape Otway and joins the Aire River shortly before it enters Bass Strait through the Port Campbell National Park.

Dinosaur Cove

Not to be confused with the children's book series of the same name. Dinosaur Cove in Victoria, Australia is a fossil-bearing site in south-east of the continent where the Otway Ranges meet the sea to the west of Cape Otway, adjacent to Great Otway National Park (map).

Melba Gully State Park

The Melba Gully State Park was formed to protect a small pocket of natural rainforest in the Otway Ranges near Apollo Bay in Victoria (Australia). The 48 ha park was extremely valuable as much of the rest of the Ranges has been burnt out many times by bushfires. The park now forms part of the Great Otway National Park. The park has few facilities due to its small size, but it has a picnic ground and basic picnic facilities, with the main attraction being the 35 minute Madsens Track Nature Walk.
