Lucinda, Queensland
Lucinda is a coastal town in the state of Queensland, Australia, located at the southern entrance to Hinchinbrook Channel near the town of Ingham. A sugar-exporting town, Lucinda is noted for its 6 km-long sugar jetty, the world's largest bulk sugar loading facility. At the 2006 census, Lucinda had a population of 448. Lucinda is serviced by a convenience store and post office on Dennis Parade and a hotel on Lucinda Point Road.

Pelorus Island
Pelorus Island is the northernmost island of the Great Palm Island group. It is located 800 metres north of Orpheus Island. Pelorus is surrounded by spectacular fringing reefs that can be accessed by snorkelling right off the beach. Camping is permitted on Pelorus Island, however there are no camping facilities or freshwater on the island.

Orpheus Island National Park
Orpheus Island is a national park in North Queensland, Australia, 1,189 km northwest of Brisbane, as is Pelorus Island 800 metres to the north. It is part of Shire of Hinchinbrook. Besides Orpheus Island, the national park also includes Albino Rock, which is located 2.6 km Aleast of Palm Island. A research station, operated by James Cook University is located on the island, as is an exclusive resort. St Michaels Grammar sometimes goes there for a 2 week program known as GBR.
