Emu Flat, Victoria

Emu Flat is a locality in the Shire of Mitchell local government area, in Victoria, Australia. It is situated between Lancefield and Tooborac, 92 kilometres to the north-west of Melbourne by road. Emu Flat has two "heritage places" listed in the Shire of Mitchell Planning Scheme. These are the Uniting Church (formerly Presbyterian Church), and the former State School. The Emu Flat Post Office opened on 17 September 1877 and closed in 1945.

Tooborac is a town in Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Mitchell local government area, 107 kilometres north of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Tooborac and the surrounding area had a population of 277. Tooborac Post Office opened on 1 January 1872. Tooborac has recently undergone a resurgence with the renovation of the Tooborac Hotel and the construction of a craft brewery.

Baynton, Victoria

Baynton is a small rural community in central Victoria, Australia. Baynton is approximately 20 km north-east of Kyneton, and 20 km north-west of Lancefield. Baynton's elevation varies from 450 to 650 metres (1,475–2,130 ft) above sea level, and rainfall averages 675 millimetres per annum. Agriculturally the region produces wool, lamb, beef and wine.
