Mount Warrnambool
Mount Warrnambool is a single large scoria cone volcano that is 216 metres high. Mount Warrnambool is 16 kilometres south west of Terang, Victoria, Australia. It is visible from the Princes Highway on the way to Warrnambool. The last eruption was over 5,000 years ago. Lava and tuff also form layers in the area. The tuff forms a partial ring that wraps around the east and north side of the volcano. The ring of tuff could be on other sides of the volcano too, except that it is covered in lava.

Lake Terang
Lake Terang was a lake near Terang, Victoria. Following European settlement of the area surrounding the lake in the 19th century the lake began to dry out. It was drained in the 1960s and is now used as a recreation area, for agriculture and as part of the Terang Golf Course. The sediments of Lake Terang go back 350,000 years and are of significant interest for palaeoecology and the geologic history of western Victoria.
