Howlong

Howlong is a town 28 kilometres west of Albury, and is situated on the Murray River which separates the Australian states of New South Wales and Victoria. The town is located on the Riverina Highway. Rutherglen  pronunciation is a small town in north-eastern Victoria, Australia, near the Murray River border with New South Wales. The town was named after the Scottish town of Rutherglen which lies just outside Glasgow. At the 2006 census, Rutherglen had a population of 1,990.

Rutherglen railway station, Victoria

Rutherglen is a closed station located in the town of Rutherglen, on the Wahgunyah railway line in Victoria, Australia. The Wahgunyah railway line was opened as a whole from Springhurst to Wahgunyah in 1879. The passenger service was withdrawn on 13 April 1962, the last branch line mixed train to operate in Victoria. Services were suspended in 1995, with the line practically closed.
