Higginsville, Western Australia
Higginsville is the name of an abandoned town in the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia. At the 2006 census, Higginsville had a population of 64. The town was gazetted in 1907 and is believed to have been named after the prospector Patrick Justice Higgins. The town, now abandoned, is located on the Esperance Branch Railway, west of Lake Cowan. The currently active Higginsville Gold Mine is located nearby.

Widgiemooltha is an abandoned town in Western Australia 631 kilometres east of Perth between Kambalda and Norseman in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. In the 1890s gold was discovered in the area and the townsite was gazetted in 1897 as Widgemooltha, the spelling being amended to the current form in 1944. In 1898 the town had a population of 112 (100 males and 12 females).
