River Angas
The River Angas is a small river rising on the eastern side of the Mount Lofty Ranges in South Australia. Its headwaters are near Macclesfield and it flows generally southward through Strathalbyn, emptying into Lake Alexandrina near the town of Milang. The river was discovered and named on 31 December 1837, during the exploration by Robert Cock, William Finlayson, A. Wyatt and G. Barton from Adelaide to Lake Alexandrina.

Milang, South Australia
Milang is small town situated on the shores of Lake Alexandrina, just over 20 km from Strathalbyn, South Australia. At the 2006 census, Milang had a population of 512. The town was surveyed in December 1853. Milang was a significant port on the Murray River System between 1860 and 1880, before the railway line was built to connect Adelaide to Morgan further upstream. Milang Football Club currently compete in the Hills Football League C Grade competition.

Nurragi railway station
Nurragi was a former railway siding in South Australia, located approximately halfway along the Sandergrove to Milang spur-line, which branched off from the Mount Barker-Victor Harbor railway line. Opened in 1884, it was a 70 metres-long goods siding. The siding was closed in 1970, when the spur-line was abandoned and removed when the track was dismantled in the 1970s.
