Borden is a small town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The town is located 325 kilometres south east of the state capital, Perth and 111 kilometres north of Albany, Western Australia on Chester Pass Road. At the 2006 census, Borden and the surrounding area had a population of 164. The town was established as a siding on the railway line between Gnowangerup and Ongerup and is named after Canadian Prime Minister Robert Laird Borden.

Amelup, Western Australia
Amelup is a small town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia located on Chester Pass Road. The Amelup service station is located 9 km North of the Stirling Range National Park situated between the Stirling Range and Borden. The area was once a centre of the Sandalwood trade, with cutters working the area in the 1890s. Sandalwood Road is a reminder of the town's past. The town is mostly known for its CAUTION: Nudist Crossing sign on the main street.

East Borden Important Bird Area
The East Borden Important Bird Area comprises a cluster of patches of remnant native vegetation, totalling 459 ha and surrounded by farmland, in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. It has been identified as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International because it supports at least 20 breeding pairs of the endangered Carnaby's Cockatoo which nest in tree hollows in the remnant woodland and feed in native shrublands.

Monjebup Reserve
Monjepbup Reserve is a 20.63 km nature reserve in south-west Western Australia. It is 140 km north-east of Albany, 340 km west of Esperance and 430 km south-east of Perth. It is owned and managed by Bush Heritage Australia (BHA), by which 9.56 km of it was purchased in 2005, with another 11.07 km in 2010, and forms part of BHA’s Gondwana Link project.
