Sylhet

Sylhet is a major city in north-eastern Bangladesh. Metropolitan University, Sylhet

Metropolitan University or MU is a nongovernmental institution in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The university was established on 3 May 2003 under the Private University Act 1992. Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury is the chairman of MU. The widespread growth of private universities in the country has generated some confusion in the minds of the conscious people as to whether these universities can conform to the fundamental principles of imparting the realistic education of a standard university.

Sylhet Stadium

Sylhet Divisional Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is currently used mostly for cricket matches as well as football. The stadium holds 15,000 people and was built in 1965. The stadium recently got funding from the government to increase its seating capacity and make major improvements on the field, and installation of floodlights.
