Kessel-Lo

Kessel-Lo (population 26,000) is a town in Belgium. It is a borough of Leuven North of Leuven proper. Kessel-Lo is bordered by Holsbeek, Lubbeek, and several other municipalities that are part of Leuven (including Leuven proper, Heverlee, and Wijgmaal). Its name is derrived from "Kessel" (from the Latin "Castellum" for fortress, referring to a fortress that once stood on the kesselmountain) and "Lo" (forest).

Groep T

Group T (Groep T) is a college in Leuven, Belgium. The school was formed by a fusion of an existing school for technical (industrial) engineers and the Provinciale Normaalschool. Nowadays the school offers two main branches: The Engineering College: a Bachelor and Master in industrial sciences. The Teacher's College: a Bachelor of education. Apart from this, Group T has built a considerable reputation for adult education (social promotion).

St. Peter's Church, Leuven

Saint Peter's Church of Leuven, Belgium, is situated on the city's Grote Markt, right across the ornate Town Hall. Built mainly in the 15th century in Brabantine Gothic style, the church has a cruciform floor plan and a low bell tower that has never been completed.

Leuven Town Hall

The Town Hall of Leuven, Belgium, is a landmark building on that city's Grote Markt (Main Market) square, across from the monumental St.  Peter's Church. Built in a Brabantine Late Gothic style between 1448 and 1469, it is famous for its ornate architecture, crafted in lace-like detail.

Collegium Trilingue

The Collegium Trilingue, often also called Collegium trium linguarum, or, after its creator Collegium Buslidianum, was founded in 1517 under the patronage of the humanist, Jeroen Van Busleyden (in Latin Hieronymus Buslidius). The College, in fact inspired by Erasmus who was a friend of Busleyden, was inaugurated in September 1518.
