Royal Museum for Central Africa

The Royal Museum for Central Africa (RMCA) (also colloquially known as The Africa Museum) (Dutch: Koninklijk Museum voor Midden-Afrika) is an ethnographical and natural history museum in Tervuren, in Flemish Brabant, Belgium. It was first built to showcase King Leopold II's Congo Free State for the 1897 World Exhibition. It focuses on the Congo, a former Belgian colony.

British School of Brussels

The British School of Brussels (commonly abbreviated to BSB), an English-language day school providing a British education for international students in Belgium and occupies a site of about 15 acres surrounded by woodland near the Royal Museum of Central Africa in the town of Tervuren, east of Brussels. It contains over 1,230 students within the age range of 1 to 18+ from over 65 nationalities currently enrolled. BSB consists of two schools: primary and secondary.

Wavre transmitter

The Wavre radio transmitter is a facility for mediumwave, shortwave, FM and TV broadcasting near Wavre in Belgium. For the mediumwave transmissions it uses a grounded 250-metre high guyed mast. Furthermore there is a backup mast for medium wave transmissions, which is 90 metres high. For shortwave broadcasting several directional antennas and a curtain antenna are used. The towers are two of the tallest structures in Belgium.

Vossem

Vossem is a village in the municipality of Tervuren, in Belgium. It is located in the valley of the Voer creek (small river, tributary to the Dijle). There is small nature reserve in Vossem, the Twaalf-Apostelenbos ("Forest of the twelve apostles"), a swamp. Vossem was an independent village until 1977, when it became part of the municipality of Tervuren.
