VRT Zendstation Egem

The VRT Zendstation Egem is a 305 metres tall guyed mast used as a broadcast antenna. It broadcasts the radio and TV programs of the VRT and Q-Music, JOE fm, Radio Contact, Radio Nostalgie). There are also a number of antennas for mobile communications attached to the mast. It was built in 1973 and is located in Egem in Pittem, West Flanders, Belgium. It is the tallest structure in Belgium. The tower is owned and operated by Norkring België.

Loppem Castle

Loppem Castle (Dutch: Kasteel van Loppem) is a castle situated in Loppem in the municipality of Zedelgem, near Bruges in West Flanders, in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It was built between 1859 and 1862 for Baron Charles van Caloen and his family, and designed by architects E.W. Pugin and Jean-Baptiste de Béthunein 1856. It is considered a masterpiece of civil Gothic Revival architecture.

Moerbrugge

Moerbrugge is a village in the Belgian province of West Flanders, in the municipality of Oostkamp. It was the site of a bridgehead that the Canadian 4th Armoured Division used to cross the Ghent-Bruges Canal during the Battle of the Scheldt on 10 September 1944.
