Angkor Borei and Phnom Da

The ancient Funan sites of Angkor Borei and Phnom Da are located in the Angkor Borei District, Takéo Province, of southern Cambodia. The earliest dated archaeological material from these sites is from roughly 400 BC. They contain the earliest known dated Khmer inscriptions as well as the earliest tradition of Khmer sculpture. The hill of Phnom Da contains an 11th Century temple that is still standing.

Búng Bình Thiên

Búng Bình Thiên is the biggest fresh-water lake in Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Located in An Phu District, province of An Giang, linking three communes, namely Khánh Bình, Nhơn Hội and Quốc Thái, and adjoining Bình Di River and Hậu River, the natural lake is becoming known as an eco-tourist area.

An Phu District

An Phú is a district of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam on the border with Cambodia. An Phu juts out at the western edge of Vietnam into Cambodia. As of 2003 the district had a population of 178,613. The district covers an area of 209 km². The district capital lies at An Phu.
