Lake of Two Islands

The Lake of Two Islands is a lake in Dysart et al in Haliburton County, Ontario. This lake has three islands of which the largest, Solo Island, is the only one to be named. This lake is used by Camp Timberlane and Camp Samac.

Haliburton Forest

The Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd. (Haliburton Forest) is a privately owned forest, comprising 300 square kilometres in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario, Canada, about 270 kilometres northeast of Toronto, and just south of and abutting Algonquin Provincial Park. Haliburton Forest is a "multi-use forest", with attractions such as the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre, the world's longest Canopy Walk as well as the world's only freshwater tour submarine.

Camp Timberlane Canada

Camp Timberlane is a residential summer camp located in the Haliburton Highlands in Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1958 by Barry and Philomena Lowes. The site is located on a private lake, Lake of Two Islands, 2½ hours north of Toronto. In 2006, Corey Mandell, CEO of Mandell Entertainment bought Camp Timberlane and is the current owner-director. In his own words, he is striving to protect and maintain the "Spirit, Integrity, and Tradition" of Timberlane.

Paudash Lake

Paudash Lake is a lake in south central Ontario southwest of Bancroft along Hwy. 28. The lake is located in the Municipality of Highlands East in Haliburton County just north of Silent Lake Provincial Park, and is 27 km south of the panhandle of Algonquin Provincial Park. It is about two and a quarter hours' drive northeast from Canada's largest city, Toronto, and approximately the same distance, but a slower drive, west-southwest from the nation's capital, Ottawa.
