Rochon Sands Provincial Park is a provincial park located in Alberta, Canada. It is located on the south shore of Buffalo Lake (Alberta), within the summer village of Rochon Sands. This provincial park can be accessed north east from Red Deer, Alberta on Highway 11, or north west from Stettler on Highway 12 and secondary highway 835. The park was established on January 8, 1957.

Buffalo Lake (Alberta)

Buffalo Lake is a large lake in central Alberta. It is located in at the limit between Camrose County, Stettler County and Lacombe County, 40 km east of Red Deer. The lake lies in the Red Deer River basin, and has a water surface of 93.5 km² and a drainage area of 1,440 km². The recreational areas of Boss Hill, Rochon Sands, White Sands and The Narrows are established on the shores of the lake, as is the Rochon Sands Provincial Park.

Erskine, Alberta

Erskine is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within the County of Stettler No. 6. It is located approximately 12 kilometres west of Stettler, 15 kilometres south of Rochon Sands and 64 kilometres east of Red Deer. It was established in 1905 and named after British jurist Thomas Erskine (1750–1823).
