Republic of Indian Stream

The Republic of Indian Stream was a small, unrecognized, constitutional republic in North America, along the section of the US–Canada border that divides the Canadian province of Quebec from the US state of New Hampshire. It existed from July 9, 1832 to 1835. Described as "Indian Stream Territory, so-called" by the United States census-taker in 1830, the area was named for Indian Stream, a small watercourse.

Pittsburg–Clarksville Covered Bridge

The Pittsburg–Clarksville Covered Bridge (also known as the Bacon Road Bridge) is a wooden Paddleford truss bridge with added arches over the Connecticut River located between Pittsburg and Clarksville, New Hampshire. It was closed to traffic in 1981. The bridge is the northernmost covered bridge crossing the Connecticut River.

Estrie

The Estrie is an administrative region of Quebec that overlaps mostly (not entirely) the Eastern Townships. Estrie, a French neologism, was coined as a derivative of est, "east". The region has a land area of 10,214.34 km² (3 943.78 sq mi) and a 2011 census population of 310,733 inhabitants. Its largest population centre is the city of Sherbrooke. Estrie also has a large selection of natural parks.
