Estrie

The Estrie is an administrative region of Quebec that overlaps mostly (not entirely) the Eastern Townships. Estrie, a French neologism, was coined as a derivative of est, "east". The region has a land area of 10,214.34 km² (3 943.78 sq mi) and a 2011 census population of 310,733 inhabitants. Its largest population centre is the city of Sherbrooke. Estrie also has a large selection of natural parks.

Fleurimont is an arrondissement, or borough, of the city of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada on the Saint-François River. The borough comprises the former city of Fleurimont and the eastern portion of pre-amalgamation Sherbrooke. As a separate city, Fleurimont had a population of 16,521 in the Canada 2001 Census. As a borough of Sherbrooke, it has a population of 41,289, making it the most populous borough in the city.
