Codette is a community in Saskatchewan located 10 km south of Nipawin on Highway 35. The community shares its name with Codette Lake, a man made lake on the Saskatchewan River, blocked by the Francois Finlay Dam.

Nipawin Bible College

Nipawin Bible College is an evangelical interdenominational training school on a 110 acres site just south of Nipawin, Saskatchewan. The College is affiliated with the Canadian Council of Christian Charities, Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC) and the Prairie Athletic Conference. Mr. Wes Fehr is the President and an instructor at the College.

Pontrilas, Saskatchewan

Pontrilas, Saskatchewan was a Canadian town that no longer exists. At one time Pontrilas was a small farming community approximately 10 miles south of Nipawin, Saskatchewan. There were four grain elevators, small stores, and services. Around the center were homes and a two-room school for grades 1 to 12. When the school closed, the students were sent to Codette and Nipawin; the school's merry-go-round was sent to Codette. There was a hotel, which has burned down.

Nipawin, Saskatchewan

Nipawin is located in north-east Saskatchewan, Canada, on the Saskatchewan River portion of Tobin Lake. The town lies between Codette Lake, created by the Francois-Finlay Dam (built in 1986) and Tobin Lake, created by the E.B. Campbell Dam built in 1963, renamed from Squaw Rapids. The construction of Francois-Finlay Dam earned Nipawin the nickname, The Town of Two Lakes. Nipawin is bordered by the Rural Municipality of Nipawin No. 487 and the Rural Municipality of Torch River No.

Crooked Bridge

The Crooked Bridge is a Canadian railway bridge that spans the Saskatchewan River just north of Nipawin, Saskatchewan. It was originally built by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The Crooked Bridge is a double deck bridge with the top deck carrying the Torch River Railway (short-line operator) track while a 16 foot roadway is on the lower deck.
