It is located in the east-southeastern part of the province, bordering Manitoba. The most populous community in this division is Melville. According to the 2006 census, 30,529 people lived in this division. It has a land area of 14,782.84 km² (5,707.69 sq mi).

Oakshela, Saskatchewan

Oakshela is a hamlet in Saskatchewan, Canada. It was founded in the late 19th century by farmers and quickly became a flourishing small town. It once housed a post office, three stores, a school, a church and several families both within town and just outside of town. It also had a cemetery, which is still used to this date. Oakshela is located approximately 124 km east of Regina just off the #1 Highway, about 25 km south of the Qu'Appelle Valley.

Pheasant Hills (provincial electoral district)

Pheasant Hills was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada, centered just north of the town of Grenfell. This district was one of 25 created before the 1st Saskatchewan general election in 1905. Originally named "Grenfell", this constituency was renamed Pheasant Hills in 1908, after a range of hills north of the Qu'Appelle River valley near Grenfell, Saskatchewan.

McLeod No. 185, Saskatchewan

McLeod No. 185 is a rural municipality in south-eastern Saskatchewan, Canada encompassing 886.60 square kilometers in area. The rural municipality maintains its office in Neudorf, Saskatchewan. The rural municipality in conjunction with the provincial government is in charge of maintenance of highways in its area. As well, the municipality provides policing, fire protection and municipal governance for the rural district, with a reeve as its administrator.
