Diaoyu Fortress

Fishing Town is one of the great ancient battlefields of China. It is famous for its resistance to the Mongol armies in the latter half of the Song Dynasty. One of the most notable events was the death of Mongol leader Möngke Khan near the city, which forced the immediate withdrawal of Mongol troops from Syria and East Asia and prevented the Mongolian Empire from expanding towards Africa.

Fu River (Sichuan)

Fu River, or Fujiang is a river of in China's Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality. It is a left tributary of the Jialing River, which in its turn is a left tributary of the Yangtze; it is thus part of the East China Sea basin. The Fujiang flows in the general southern and south-eastern direction across the central Sichuan, and then enters the Chongqing Municipality, where it merges with the Jialing.

Beibei District

Beibei District is a district in the Chongqing municipality, People's Republic of China. A satellite town in the north of central Chongqing, Beibei got its name because of the huge rock that extends to the middle of Jialing River, and is known for its historical culture in the period of the Republic of China, beautiful sceneries, and clean streets. It covers around 755 square kilometers and has a population of about 0.65 millions (2004).
