The Qiongzhou Strait, also called the Hainan Strait, is a body of water that separates the Leizhou Peninsula in Guangdong, southern China, to the north from Hainan Island to its south. The strait connects the Gulf of Tonkin in the west to the James Shoal on the eastern edge of the South China Sea. Haikou Century Bridge
Haikou Century Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Haikou city, the capital of Hainan province in People's Republic of China. The bridge was built to link the main part of Haikou city to Haidian Island, a district separated from Hainan Island by the Haidian River.
