Heping District is an urban district of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province, People's Republic of China. Huanggutun Incident

Huanggutun Incident was an assassination plotted by the Japanese Kwantung Army that targeted Fengtian warlord Zhang Zuolin. It took place on June 4, 1928 at Huanggutun rail station near Shenyang in which Zhang's train was destroyed by an explosion. This incident was concealed in Japan at the time and was referred only as "満州某重大事件" (Manshuboujudaijiken A Certain Important Incident in Manchuria).

Liaoning Broadcast and TV Tower

The Liaoning Broadcast and Television Tower is a tall free-standing structure used for communication. It was built in 1989 in Shenyang, China and is 305.5 m (1002 ft) tall. Within the "disk" of the tower, accessible through an elevator, there is an in-door observation deck, rotating restaurant, and a small bar. On the top of the disk is an outdoor observation deck. This tower is in World Federation of Great Towers.

Wulihe Stadium

Wulihe Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Shenyang, China. The stadium was used mostly for football matches. The stadium had a capacity of 65,000 people. It was built in 1989, and was the home stadium of Shenyang Ginde football team. It was the site of the Chinese National Team's clinching a spot for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Finals. They defeated Oman 1-0 to claim a spot for the finals in South Korea.
