Nanhui District

Nanhui District, formerly Nanhui County, was a district of Shanghai until it was merged into Pudong New Area in May 2009. It had a land area of about 809.5 km² and a 59.5-kilometer coastline. The population of Nanhui was 975,017 as of August 2006. On May 6, 2009, it was announced that the State Council of China had approved the proposal to merge Nanhui District into Pudong.

Shanghai Disney Resort

The Shanghai Disney Resort is an upcoming theme park resort to be built by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. This would be the second Disneyland in China with the other one being the Hong Kong Disneyland. The resort is scheduled to open in December 2015. Phase 1 of the resort's development will feature a Magic Kingdom-style park, Shanghai Disneyland Park, an entertainment district, two themed hotels, recreational facilities, a lake and associated parking and transportation hubs.

Lingkong Road Station

Lingkong Road Station is a station on Line 2 of the Shanghai Metro in Pudong. Located between the Chuansha and Yuandong Avenue stations, the station is located along Lingkong Road. The station came into operation in April 2010 after it was extended from the Guanglan Road Station.
