Shifang protest
The Shifang protest was a large-scale environmental protest in the southwestern Chinese city of Shifang, Sichuan province, against a copper plant that residents feared posed environmental and public health risks. Mahavira Hall
A Mahāvīra Hall or Hall of Mahāvīra, called daeungjeon (대웅전, 大雄殿) in Korean, is the main building of a traditional Chinese Buddhist temple complex, where the historical Buddha and other buddhas and bodhisattvas are enshrined.
