Matecaña International Airport

Matecaña International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Matecaña) is an airport located in the city of Pereira, Colombia. It connects the Risaralda department of Colombia. It also serves the cities of Armenia, Cartago, and Manizales in emergency situations. The airport was built in 1945, and the runway was expanded to its current length between 1966 and 1968. It has one cargo ramp built in 1978.

Estadio Hernán Ramírez Villegas

Estadio Hernán Ramírez Villegas is a multi-purpose stadium in Pereira, Colombia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It is also the home of Deportivo Pereira. The stadium holds 30,313 people. The stadium was built in 1971. The stadium was under reconstruction for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2011. The stadium is going to host some games and is going to hold 40.000 people. An upper tier is being added to the stadium to match with the existing west upper tier.

César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct

The César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct (Spanish: Viaducto César Gaviria Trujillo) is a cable-stayed bridge connecting the neighbouring cities of Pereira and Dosquebradas in Risaralda, Colombia. It is one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in South America and, at the time of its completion in 1997, ranked 20th in the world. The bridge has a total length of 440 metres, including a central span of 211 metres. There are four traffic lanes and two sidewalks, giving a total width of 26 metres.

Dosquebradas

Dosquebradas is the second largest city and a municipality in the Risaralda Department, Colombia. As of 2005, it had a population of approximately 200,000 inhabitants. The city is connected by the César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct to Pereira, the capital of the department. The name of the city literally means "two creeks" (dos quebradas), Santa Teresita and Las Garzas.
