Čepin
Čepin is a town and municipality in Osijek-Baranja County, Croatia. It is located in northeast Slavonia, 10 kilometers southwest from Osijek. The first name of the settlement was Villa de Chapo. Cepin, with its 11,599 inhabitants at the 2011 census, is now included in Osijek built-up area. The majority of the population are Croats at 92%. Other minorities include Serbs and Hungarians. There is also an airport, used exclusively for sport and private flying purposes (Sport Airport Čepin).

Battle of Osijek
The Battle of Osijek (Croatian: Bitka za Osijek) was fought between the Croatian National Guard and forces loyal to the Croatian government on one side and the Army of the Republic of Serbian Krajina supported by the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and various Serb paramilitary units on the other, during the Croatian War of Independence. Croatian National Theatre in Osijek
The Croatian National Theatre (Croatian: Hrvatsko narodno kazalište u Osijeku) is a theatre building in Osijek, capital of the Croatian region of Slavonia. Opened in 1866, and the building was expanded and fully completed in 1907 according to the plans of its local architect, Karlo Klausner. Designed in baroque style and exterior, it was damaged by the JNA during the Croatian War of Independence in the 1990s, and has been extensively restored.

Osijek Co-cathedral
The Church of St Peter and St Paul (Croatian: Crkva svetog Petra i Pavla), the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Đakovo-Osijek, is a neo-Gothic sacral structure located in Osijek, Croatia. The multi-tiered 90-metre spire is one of the city's landmarks. The church was built in 1898 on the initiative of Đakovo-based Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer. The church is entered via a small door to the right of the main portal, overlooked by a trio of gargoyles.
