Split Airport

The Split Airport, also known colloquially as the Resnik Airport (Zračna luka Resnik), is the airport serving the city of Split, Croatia. It is located some distance from the city itself, on the other side of Kaštela Bay, in the town of Kaštela. In its immediate vicinity is also the town of Trogir. The airport is the third largest in Croatia (after Zagreb and Dubrovnik) in terms of passenger numbers, handling 1,425,749 passengers in 2012.

Žedno

Žedno is a village in the Čiovo peninsula, near Split, Croatia. It is situated on the top of Čiovo peninsula. The village has a church and a kindergarten, but no school. Administratively, it is part of the city of Trogir. It is connected by road to nearby villages of Mastrinka and Okrug Gornji.

Igralište Batarija

Batarija is a football ground in the Trogir where NK Trogir 1912 plays. This ground is unique in the world because it is located between two protected monument - Kamerlengo Castle and tower of St. Marco.

Kamerlengo Castle

Kamerlengo (Gradina Kamerlengo) is a castle and fortress in Trogir, Croatia. It was built by the Republic of Venice The castle was built in the mid-15th century by Marin Radoj as part of an expansion of the Veriga Tower, built on the site in the late 14th century. It is used as a location for performances during the summer months. The word kamerlengo refers to the title of a Venetian administrative official (a chamberlain).

Rudine derailment

The Rudine derailment was a train derailment that happened on July 24, 2009 at 10:08 GMT near the village of Rudine in southern Croatia, on the Zagreb-Split railway line. The derailment site is located on the slopes of Kozjak at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:43.570115|N|16.311307|E|type:event|||| |primary |name= }} (estimated). The accident caused the deaths of 6 people, and 55 have been injured.
