Soljani

Soljani are a village in Cvelferija in the southernmost part of Vukovar-Syrmia County. From the 2001 census the village had a population of 1554 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in 1329 as “Sauly, Sali posessio”, and since then the village name has been connected with the word “salt” (sol means salt in Croatian). During the Roman Empire the village was plotted on the history maps as “Saldis”, and one of the main Roman roads that lead to Sirmium went via Saldis.

Bošnjaci

Bošnjaci is a village and municipality in Vukovar-Syrmia County in eastern Croatia. The 2011 census listed a total of 3,869 inhabitants in Bošnjaci. In the 2001 census there were 4,653 inhabitants, 98.7% of whom identified themselves as Croats.

Brčko (town)

Brčko is a town in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, administrative seat of the Brčko District. It lies on the country's border along the Sava river across from Gunja, Croatia. Its name is very likely linked to the Breuci, an Illyrian tribe inhabiting the area in antiquity.

Jamena

Jamena is a village in the region of Srem, southwestern Vojvodina, Serbia. It is situated in the municipality of Šid. Jamena has a population of 1,130 (2002 census), but it is declining. Most of the inhabitants of the village are ethnic Serbs. It is the only place in Serbia that borders Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegovina (Republika Srpska).
