Estadio Francisco Micheli

Estadio Francisco Micheli (formerly known as Romana, in reference to the city where it is located) is a private multipurpose stadium dedicated mainly to the sport of baseball. Located in the city of La Romana, with a capacity for about 7,000 people, is the home of the Dominican professional team, the Toros del Este. La Romana International Airport

La Romana International Airport is located on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, adjacent to the tourist town of La Romana and the resort of Casa de Campo. The airport, which opened in December 2000, is about 68 miles (110km) from the capital, Santo Domingo. The single terminal is built in the style of an old sugar mill.

In 1975 Gulf+Western developed 7,000 acres of its Central Romana sugar mill's land into the Casa de Campo resort. Situated in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo (Spanish for "Country House") is a Ponderosa-style, tropical seaside resort.
